Human Resources Generalist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGENERAL:
Facilitates proper employee documentation and records in HR systems, compiling reports as needed and performing related system/module maintenance.
Ensure that employee databases remain accurate and up to date, assigning security roles, and end dating as needed.
Facilitates onboarding and offboarding, alternate work assignment requests such as transfers, managing logistics with appropriate teams (e.
g.
, IT, HR team/other functions).
Develops, implements, reinforces, and modifies HR policies, programs, and procedures.
Audits HR policies, programs, and procedures against relevant legislation and best practices and recommends improvements.
May manage organization ACA 1095-C, Form 5500 reporting and Paid Time Off (PTO) processes.
HRIS & TRAINING:
Supports the HR team (VP HR, Total Rewards Director, Talent Manager and Training and Development Manager) and Payroll on position related functions (Payroll & HRIS) and special projects that involve implementing new functionality for end-users and assisting with reporting and report creation.
Creates and assists in the preparation of HR training materials and process documents for employee/department use.
May conduct training on systems, performance management processes and maintain SOP on UKG system processes.
Serves as HR liaison on Payroll, providing backup and payroll review as needed.
Conduct needs analysis of the organization's learning needs by consulting leaders and other HR functions, analyzing data, and conducting research that ensures learning initiatives are customized to relevant audiences, organizational needs and delivered effectively.
Gathers and organizes the most useful information from both internal and external sources into easily accessed locations.
Complete all assigned trainings timely.
Performs other duties as assigned.
LEADERSHIP
Responsibilities:
This position is directly responsible for management and oversight of HR processes and supporting the payroll and HRIS functions, continually focused on improving processes and systems to better support employees and the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field.
Experience with UKG software platform is required.
2-3 years of experience in HR.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS HR certification or currently pursuing a certification (e.
g.
, PHR, SPHR).
Experience working with HR information systems.
Advanced skill level preferred in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
OTHER Normal HR activities may require travel, thus incumbent must maintain valid travel documentation.
Normal HR activities may require working outside of standard business hours (9:
00am-5:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
