As Design Directorreporting to theCreative Director, you will:
Responsibilities Lead the efforts of the Game Design team, working with the team to translate the greater Creative Vision into workable Design Goals, requirements, and vision.
Elevate the greater Game Design Discipline, collaborating with the team to establish clear best practices and standards for the discipline as a whole.
Create a working environment that facilitates autonomy and empowerment within the Game Design Discipline.
Iterate upon and redefine the team's Game Design process.
Provide mentorship to a team of Designers across multiple sub-disciplines and unlock development for designers at all levels.
Create a Design Culture of inclusivity and curiosity, one that is data-informed, player-first, and guided by long-term results.
Oversee the staffing strategy, requirements, and recruiting efforts for the Game Design Team.

years experience in a Director Level role for Game or Product Design.
A live service mindset and a deep understanding of how to craft ecosystems that sustain player engagement over years of play.
A focus on Social Design and MetaGame Design, and a passion for staying on top of trends within the space.
A drive to create an environment of empowerment, to lead with a team-first approach, and to develop an inclusive Design culture.
A positive, collaborative team-centric mentality and a willingness to learn& grow.
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states.
If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

$131,600 - $195,200Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
