UI Developer
Seeking mid and senior level UI developers familiar with both user and developer experience as it relates to UI design.
The Individual in this role will be involved in a variety of programming projects centered on the end-to-end management of agency UI setups including design, implementation, and maintenance.
The ideal candidate for this position would have a strong interest in the translation of available data and agency software to large groups of users of varying technical capabilities.
This position focuses on both creation of new UI features & setups as well as analysis and enhancement of existing setups.
Job functions may include:
End-to-end management of agency UI setups Development of new components for agency UI setups based on expanded data available through reporting, analysis, and collection Working with related departments, divisions, individuals, or team members to design and enhance new and existing UI for various programs and applications Present new design elements and enhancements to existing elements for review by user groups Required skills, knowledge, and abilities include:
Minimum of 2 years experience in related field or BS degree in relevant course of study Acute interest in data visualization and a passion for identifying and answering questions related to user experience Experience with graphics and digital art manipulation Familiarity with secure application design principles General knowledge of project management tennants Working knowledge of industry standard software and web applications Understanding of and ability to develop code related to UI setups using industry standard coding language(s) General familiarity with programming languages including JavaScript, VB, HTML5, and XML Comfort with and ability to work in a team setting as well as on individual based tasks and projects Powered by JazzHR Recommended Skills User Interface Html5 Web Application Development Cascading Style Sheets (Css) Javascript (Programming Language) Responsive Web Design Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
