Principal Adviser - Resource Planning Perth, WA 60630

The Principal Adviser - Resources Planning will establish collaborative and influential relationships across our resources portfolio to implement the annual planning process, as well as the systematic identification of resource risk and opportunity.
The role will work with operational, technical, project and functional teams to integrate, align, problem solve and deliver against key strategic and operational objectives.
This position is part of the lithium resources organization reporting to the Manager Resource Planning & Improvement.
Key Responsibilities Support the development of an industry standard medium and long-term planning process to support broader long-range planning and budgeting activities Apply change management techniques to effectively embed the annual planning process throughout the resources organization Bring together and influence cross-functional teams to execute the planning process in a collaborative way Utilize business intelligence tools to analyze planning data and generate insight for senior decision makers Effectively communicate complex ideas in high quality presentation materials for senior leadership Effectively identify key resources risk and optimization opportunities while appropriately applying value chain constraints Lead effective meeting routines with stakeholders from key integration points across the planning value chain Inform development of key performance metrics for the resources organization Identify and manage improvement initiatives to highlight and manage production delivery risks Work Experience / Technical Skill Requirements 5-7 years of global resource experience (USA
Australia highly regarded) Strategic mine planning, operations, business improvement and study experience Demonstrated project management and leadership Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Authentic team-player driven by bringing teams together to achieve a positive collective outcome Critical, influential and strategic thinker Ability to distill complexity and assess risk Collaborate and influence across different functions and organizational levels Exceptional business and technical acumen Proven problem solver and analytical thinker attentive to detail Ability to self-manage in a globally dispersed team Education / Qualification Requirements Bachelor of Engineering / Science in a resource related field (Mining / Geology / Metallurgy) preferred Advanced degree in a relevant field highly regarded, however not essential Recommended Skills Analytical Attention To Detail Business Intelligence Change Management Communication Financial Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
