JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES ServiceNow (SPM specialist SME) Project Manager/Lead Drive Large End to End ServiceNow projects (Integrated and Standalone) providing functional and Architectural advisory Specialist/SME implementing and delivery of the SPM module across varied clients/project Point of Contact for Tier 1 clients for portfolio assigned Act as the customer success lead for the assigned portfolio, interact with platform and business stakeholders and internal Stakeholders to achieve the Net Promotion scores' Interact with the Support functions for right skill identification and hiring process Mentor and guide (off/near shore) junior technical and functional consultants Lead and manage ServiceNow service professionals directly and/or through subordinate managers or supervisors and offers leadership, direction and program governance for ServiceNow projects.
Proactively and consistently communicate the importance of building and fostering relationships to motivate and inspire team to achieve individual and team performance objectives Provide overall management support and oversight of all project and customer personnel, including employees and contractors/sub-contractors and VMO offices.
Oversee the day to day service now delivery for multiple service now managed services operations, to meet or project schedule/milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs) and other business objectives related to project timeliness, service quality and efficiency.
Liase between ServiceNow product teams and customer as applicable on demand/need basis.
Provide input and insight into workforce management capacity planning.
Ensure future demand from growth and projects is understood and factored into capacity plans on ServiceNow projects.
Develop and maintain operational budget and forecast models and strong delivery management skill with agile processes.
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to forward looking staffing models based on project finances and skillsets needed.
Ensure efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes including an ServiceNow/ITIL framework Work with subordinates to identify, mitigate and communicate operational risks and control costs and schedule variances, and effectively manages large scale, integrated projects Collect, interpret and analyze data and reports to identifying patterns and trends in data sets, in order to inform business decisions Identify customer service trends and collaborate with other functional areas to drive continuous improvement initiatives, to deliver business value Work closely with, internal/customer's senior leadership, program management, and stakeholders to provide updates on services/projects and performance Drive internal and third party service/project review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes Collaborate with senior stakeholders and leadership and other groups to understand and anticipate customer needs, to develop and implement the long term goals and strategic vision of the service now offering QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS oMust have 10 plus years of experience in ServiceNow.
oSME in technical and functional areas for ServiceNow SPM.
oHands on technical knowledge of ServiceNow configuration and development using script includes, business rules, client script, UI actions, UI policies, etc.
oDesign and deliver solutions and POCs and demonstrate the same to customers.
oMentor and guide onsite-offshore team members on customer deliverables.
oGood knowledge of requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, UAT, training, etc.
oGood communication, inter-personal and networking skills.
oGood to have ServiceNow certifications:
CIS - PPM, CSA, CAD, CIS - ITSM.
oKnowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITBM and ITOM modules.
Work Authorization:
oCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.
) Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $170,000-$200,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
