Employee & Labor Relations Specialist Location:
100% Remote / Candidate must be local to Washington, DC (within 100 miles) Type:
6 months contract to hire Required Competencies:
Ability to independently research OPM and Agency policies, rules, and regulations to develop analyses based on findings.
Ability to independently research caselaw and case precedent using CyberFeds, Westlaw, or other legal research tools to develop analyses based on findings.
Ability to work independently to interpret labor laws, Executive Orders, OPM and Treasury guidance and develop analyses.
Intermediate level of proficiency needed for the daily use of the following software:
MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, and Skype, in order to develop work products and communicate effectively with the client.
Ability to draft MS Word documents, develop Excel spreadsheets, and create PowerPoint presentations.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to provide advice, deliver training, and discuss negotiation strategies with a high level of proficiency.
