We are currently hiring for multiple Skilled Maintenance Technicians in Washington, DC.
$21-26/hr DOEMonday to Friday8am to 5pmOn call rotation requiredTemp to Perm The Maintenance Technician will be responsible, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager & Facilities Manager, for the overall maintenance of the apartment buildings and all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:
- High School Diploma or GED - HVAC Certification a plus- Trade certifications/trainings/diplomas if applicable- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation- English-Spanish bilingual a plus, but not requiredEssential duties include but are not limited to:
- 3
years of experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, plaster, painting, drywall, and other duties.
- Repairing and treating items such as bathrooms, kitchen fixtures, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors- Prepare units for inspections and new move-ins- Knowledge or open to learning knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain and assist with preventative maintenance repairing and replacing HVAC systems- Open to sharing 24-hour emergency maintenance rotation- Assist with preventative maintenance program- Complete grounds work such as:
grounds pick up, snow removal, sweeping and light landscaping- Coordinate special projects as directed- Other duties as assignedJobsRUs.
