PeopleSoft Human Capital/Enterprise Learning Development Lead (25814)

We are currently seeking a PeopleSoft Human Capital/Enterprise Learning Development Lead for a long term contracting position located in Washington, DC (could possibly convert to perm).
Candidates must be able to work onsite occasionally in Washington, DC (local candidates are preferred, no travel expense reimbursement).
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive project plan, outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
Lead project team, including functional and technical experts, to ensure smooth execution of the project.
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
Maintain clear and open communication channels.
Work with business users to understand their requirements and translate them Into project deliverables.
Identify potential risks and issues related to the project and develop mitigation plans to address them proactively.
Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that the deliverables meet the defined standards and align with business requirements.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to project stakeholders and management.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the PeopleSoft project and provide recommendations for future projects.
Ensure that the project adheres to organizational policies, procedures, and governance standards.
Qualifications:
Education and Years of
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; Minimum of eight (8) or more years of relevant experience Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field Strong leadership and team management skills are vital to effectively guide project teams and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
The ability to identify and address project-related challenges, risks, and issues proactively is important in ensuring project success.
Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid approach is beneficial, as different projects may require different methodologies.
Support other major initiatives like ERP Modernization project.
Manage PeopleSoft O&M tasks and delivery.
Prepare and support procurement related artifacts, including COTR support related to vendor contract activities and of procurements for phases Preferred Requirements:
Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience in working with Hyperion and other third-party systems.
Experience with cloud-based applications Additional Requirements:

years of experience in project management is essential with proven track record of successfully leading and delivering PeopleSoft projects on time and within budget.
8
years of experience with PeopleSoft applications and modules is crucial.
The project manager should have hands-on experience with PeopleSoft implementations, upgrades, customization, and maintenance.
Experience with databases such as ORACLE, SQL Server, SYBASE, INFORMIX, and DB2.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
