-based gifting service based upon District Ballot Initiative 71.
Couriers/Delivery Drivers may work part-time or full-time.
The work day is divided into two waves of delivery orders (all within DC borders).
At the beginning of each wave, the drivers each take a number of these pre-scheduled orders and make a route around their assigned section of the city dropping all the orders off before returning to the office.
The first wave begins (i.
e.
the couriers depart from the office) at 2:
30pm and the second is at 7:
30pm.
Couriers should arrive 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the wave to map out their route and then proceed to their deliveries.
Each delivery wave takes approximately 1.
5-2.
5 hours to complete.
PAY Part-Time:
$25/wave, +$7 per drop-off, +$25 for doing both waves in one day.
Independent contractor.
Usually equates to around $200-$300 a day for doing both waves.
Should the courier arrive to the office after the beginning of the wave (i.
e.
courier comes to the office to pick up their orders at 2:
31) the base pay for the wave falls from $25 to $10.
