Title HR Specialist II Position HR Specialist II - DNFSB Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Location DNFSB Description RiVidium, Inc(dba TripleCyber) is seekinga HR Specialist IIto help HR Directors and HR Specialist accomplish HR-related tasksHR assistants are involved with nearly all programs and services that relate to the DNFSB's Human Resources DivisionTheir work, which is often decidedly administrative in nature, the assistant to be able to demonstrate a number of competencies that are essential to the positionThe Office of the General Manager's Division of Human Resources (HR) requires support to its various program operations, including, but not limited to, the following:
o Prepare and distribute correspondence, program documentation, and forms, create reports and other materials using office automation software (i.
eMS Office Suite application for word processing, spreadsheets, charts and graphs) and other standard office equipmentThe Contractor works from rough drafts, documents, written instructions or brief oral statements, and must ensure accuracy and timeliness of information, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
o Prepare all SF52, Request for Personnel Action.
o Input/data entry and review of employee training requests; tracking and follow-up of approval, registration, and completion/close out of training requests.
o Prepare requisitions, invitational travel authorizations and vouchers.
o Prepare, compile, and duplicate documents/packages for transmission to the Board's personnel processing service provider.
o Prepare and maintain HR correspondence files, records, and logbooksMaintain SF52 (RPA) logReview SF 50 Personnel Actions processed by the Board's personnel processing service provider prior to inclusion in employee shadow fileThis work includes a quality review that includes but is not limited to:
nature of action, authority code, pay, and appropriate remarksCoordinate and provide instruction and guidance back to the personnel processing service provider; if correction is necessary.
o Assist HR Specialists with recruitment/placement support servicesComplete reference checks and compile new employee orientation packages, offer packages, and related materialsSchedule and facilitate intern program interview days.
o Provide support for entry and mid-level recruitment activities and career fairs to include packing/shipping supplies, preparing shipping labels; preparation of routine correspondence and preparation of other materials.
o Provide support for other HR initiatives (including Special Emphasis events) to include assistance with conference room set-up/clean-up, visitor escort, and distribution of materials at events.
o Assist HR Specialists with Time and Attendance when requiredServe as a liaison between employees and the Board's personnel processing service provider for issues and problems related to leave and earningsWork with employees to obtain/resolve routine issues with allotments, leave balances, and faulty deductions from pay.
o Assist with Awards Program:
Ensures monetary and non-monetary award justifications are submitted with all proper documentation/signed by the proper authorities dependent on the type of awardEdits the award write up/justification if necessary to ensure the award is professionally executedCompletes final preparation of certificate when appropriate in order to release to the supervisor for presentation to the employee.
o Assist the HR Director and staff of the Board's HR office in the collection and organization of data, the preparation of associated reports and studies, and other support duties as assigned.
Requirements for this position shall include:
o Have a practical knowledge of, and skill in applying, HR rules, procedures, and operations sufficient to perform a wide variety of interrelated and/or non-standard HR support work.
o Be familiar with general Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Human Resources operating procedures as well as the OPM Guide to Processing Personnel Actions.
o Have the ability to plan, coordinate, develop facts and/or resolve support problems in one or more HR specialties.
o Have the ability to use multiple software applications and be a qualified typist.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
