The Philanthropic Partnership team is looking for a Prospect Research Specialist.
In this position, you will report to the Senior Director, Philanthropic Partnerships to lead the strategic efforts to build and strengthen our pipeline of current and prospective funders.

This is a hybrid position, expected to be remote 90% of the time.
The successful candidate must reside within 75-miles of our Yonkers, NY or Washington, DC office.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT Your efforts will help us create collaborative partnerships that drive change and promote innovation in the marketplace, ultimately empowering consumers to protect themselves.
You will focus on Prospect and Philanthropic Research, Prospect Management and Data Management, all while driving the achievement of our investment goals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conducting research and screening to build a pipeline of prospective philanthropic partners with the propensity and capacity to make 7-figure
grants and commitments.
Investigating, analyzing, and synthesizing large quantities of data into user-friendly and concise documents for Social Impact staff, senior leaders, executive team, and volunteer leadership.
Providing strategic support to funder development.
Overseeing our constituent relationship management (CRM) software to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
ABOUT YOU You'll Be Highly Rated If:
You have the experience.
Minimum of 5 years of professional fundraising experience or related research and database management.
Previous experience supporting donor relations and driving development goals is beneficial; You bring the expertise.
You are very comfortable using fundraising databases.
You understand the philanthropic landscape.
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify groupings, trends, etc.
in large groups of data.
Deadlines don't dissuade you.
You can even multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
Communication is your superpower.
You are confident and comfortable presenting to various audiences and representing the development department externally.

htm FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE At Consumer Reports, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation.
The target salary range for this position is $90k to $110k.
It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range.
Compensation for the successful candidate will be informed by the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
