Economic Consulting Research Assistant Onsite 5 days a week at Washington, DC Description:
Responsibility:
They will use Microsoft Access and other standard tools to classify text using a rubric provided to them.
The task will entail reviewing documents and inputting answers following specific guidelines.
Duration:
Anticipated start and end dates are below, but these are subject to change by a week or so on either side.
November 27, 2023, through December 15, 2023
Experience:
No specific degree requirement.
The individuals must be able to:
maintain focus, pay careful attention to details, maintain confidentiality, ask clarifying questions, pick up on instructions quickly; it is helpful if they are a good proofreader and if they have prior experience using Access and coding text data using a rubric.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
