NPG is looking for qualified Application Technical Reviewers who must possess, at minimum two (2) of experience reviewing and handling applications.
A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
Candidates must have strong verbal and writing skills and provide excellent customer service.
This Role is a part time role and it is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
The Application Technical Reviewer (ATR) reviews permit applications and confirms that applicants have met program prerequisites and provided the documentation required for acceptance into the program.
Perform application technical reviews, screenings and reviewing building permit applications and building plans, site plans, plan revisions, architectural drawings, engineering drawings, engineer's letters, electrical diagrams, equipment specifications, and related documentation.
Determine, Sister agency submissions requirements, including Zoning clearances, plan unit developments (PUD) , board of zoning (BZA), Certificate of Inclusionary zoning compliance (CIZC) Forms Green/Energy clearances, verification from sister agencies, Approvals from Office of Planning in respect to CFA, Historic, Public Space, Department of the Environment including flood Plane Storm matter and GAR, and ensure what is required is submitted with the project.
Depending on a project's needs, the ATR assists and ensures each applicant has what is needed to get the plan review process started by coordinating with the following DC government agencies and regulatory entities:
Department of Buildings Office of the Zoning Administrator Department of Transportation (DDOT) Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE), including floodplain, stormwater, and GAR Office of Planning (OP), Commission of Fine Arts (CFA), and Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB) Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) The ATR will also work with applicants on the following:
Green/Energy Compliance Plan Unit Developments (PUD) Certificate of Inclusionary Zoning Compliance (CIZC) Communicate with staff and customers before a project is accepted into the program.
The Application Technical Reviewer (ATR) will have the knowledge of procedures and required items for submission by getting familiar with projects' submission requirements.
Initial Training will be available.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Strong verbal, writing and communications skills Excellent customer service skills Must have the ability to resolve issues in an amicable manner and promote a team approach to problem solving.
Must have organizational skills to work in a fast paced and multitasking environment with variable priorities as required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
