Title Supervisory Human Resource Specialist (Classification) Position Supervisory Human Resource Specialist (Classification) - VACO HRSC Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Location VACO HRSC Description RiVidium, Inc(dba TripleCyber) is seekinga Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Classification) to provide consultation and advisory assistance to various offices with the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) Human Resources Service Center (HRSC)This position provides HR operation support in the areas of classification, position management, merit staffing, pay administration, selection and onboarding and technical reviewThe incumbent provides the overall leadership and direction required for the classification of positions within the VAThis position will serve as the Associate Director for Classification and Position Management (PM) with full technical responsibility for carrying out complex studies and projects for Classification and PM of positionsPerson will serve as OCHCO/VA Rep for inter and intra-Agency negotiations and forums as recognized representative of Senior Admin ManagementDirects work of team of Sr HR SpecialistsThis is a promotion opportunity for a SrHr Specialist with Federal HR Experience/Expertise in ClassificationResponsibilites for this position shall include, but are not limited to:
o Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates and preparing schedules for completion of worko Technical responsibility for independently carrying out complex studies and projects for the classification and position management of positions within and outside of the VA HRSCo Ensures clear understanding in applying OPM Classification Standards and sound position management principleso Plans, organizes, and reviews program activities to assist VA HRSC management in the day-to-day classification and position management needs of VA Staff Officeso Provides expert advice and counsel in a wide range of classification and position management matters to Staff Office managers and HR staff.
o Applies an expert knowledge of classification and position management principles and concepts, a sound working knowledge of other HR fields to identify and resolve problemso HR advisory functions include establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with leadership, management, and staffRequirements for this position shall include:
o Bachelor's or Master's degreeo At least 10 years of directly related experience in a Federal classification, management, and/or compensation positono An additional four years of directly related Federal position classification or similar experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degreeSalary:
