Technical Director (TD) supports the DOT&E SIPET Directorate on all current and future technology matters providing leadership on technical, engineering, and architectural activitiesThe role is multi-faceted and demands a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and industry certificationsEssential Job Functions:
TD ensures effectiveness, reliability, and compliance with rigorous T&E processesOfficial liaison to SIPET Action Officers of the Technical Director ensuring technical alignment with DOT&E strategic goals in support of DoD T&E enterprise-wide missions and activitiesResponsible for the quality and efficiency of implementing the Director's strategic vision to keep pace with advances in science and technology, and transforming T&E tools, processes, infrastructure, and the workforceProvides both strategic and technical leadershipGuides DOT&E's technical vision and expertise in subdivision mission areas, overseeing technology architecture, engineering, and data reviewsCollaborates with Action Officers and DOT&E staff in technical decision-makingContributes to the development and implementation of technical strategies and monitors project progress, ensuring alignment with technology governance processes at the project levelTakes the lead in assessing operational requirements and recommends mission enhancing technology acquisitionsRecommends technical training and development for the DOT&E workforce, guides project alignment with higher-level technical strategies and governance frameworks, and maintains awareness of cybersecurity, data management, and project management tool performanceEnsures seamless integration of technology products and services with industry stems and oversees data stewardship for program-level data setsRequired Skills:

SCitizenship is requiredA Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline plus 12 years of experience is requiredA current Top Secret clearanceA minimum of 5 years of experience in the cyber threat landscape, emerging cyber issues and technical solutions, supply chain risks, and challenges faced by governmental and private industry partnersA minimum of 6 years of recent experience (the end of the work experience must be within the last 5 years) across the multi-domain operating environment that included T&E infrastructure, tools, prototype design, development, and implementationOne or more of the managed programs/projects must have included land, air, Maritime, space/near space, cyber, or Electromagnetic SpectrumExperience collaborating across DoD organizational lines, serving as a thought leader in cybersecurity, data, and system engineering, and effectively represented the organization in complex discussions with senior officials and private sector executivesDesired Skills:
TS with eligibility for SCI.
Recommended Skills Architecture Computer Security Decision Making Governance Information Technology Infrastructure Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
