We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco ACI (Application Center Infrastructure) and APIC, Cisco switches and routers, data center network/cabling infrastructure, network security, Cisco DNA (Digital Network Architecture) Center, Cisco Unified Wireless Network, project management, and change management processes.
As a SeniorNetwork Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining our enterprise data center network systems.
Your technical proficiency and project management abilities will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of network solutions.
Qualifications:
Must have hands-on experience with Cisco ACI implementation.
Extensive experience in configuring and customizing Cisco APIC controller.
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in planning and designing switching network solutions and migrations for large enterprises.
Subject matter expertise in Cisco Unified Wireless Networking, including 802.
11b/g/n/ac/ax, LWAPP, CAPWAP, APs, WLCs, Prime Infrastructure, Cisco ISE, and Cisco DNAC.
Solid understanding of complex multi-vendor layer 2, 3, and 4-7 environments, encompassing Cisco, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, F5, PulseSecure, and Citrix VPN.
Proficient in Cisco device configuration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
Expert understanding of external L2/L3 fabric connectivity and experience in L2/L3 switching architecture design.
Strong technical knowledge of common routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, static, BGP, IS-IS etc.
) and switching networks across large-scale environments.
Thorough understanding of networking principles, including switches, routers, cables, racks, firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, latency, VoIP, QoS, LDAP, and IPsec.
Ability to manage project plans, track milestones, and identify dependencies.
Excellent engineering project management skills, including planning, organization, scheduling, and progress reporting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, and a passion for designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions.
Responsibilities:
Devise, plan, design, deploy, and migrate new enterprise data center network systems from inception to implementation, collaborating with different teams throughout the process.
Develop and maintain configuration plans for Cisco ACI design, planning, implementation, and testing, with a focus on multi datacenter configurations.
Install, configure, and customize Cisco Unified Wireless Network, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Spaces, and Prime Infrastructure.
Optimize wireless network coverage and performance in high-density wireless client areas by reviewing and adjusting system configurations.
Provide internal consulting, technical guidance, information, and support to other teams during the development of each system's migration plan.
Create Low-Level Design, High-Level Design, Implementation/Migration Plan, and Acceptance Test Plan documents following IMF standards.
Install and configure network switches and lead the migration process based on the developed plans and IMF's change management process.
Perform in-depth analysis of current cabling inventory and develop new cabling designs.
Collaborate with the security team to evaluate threats, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with IMF's security configuration standards.
Prepare comprehensive manuals and documentation for all tasks and procedures.
Resolve complex problems with multiple variables, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
