Qualified individual in Government Relations team to focus on a range of federal and state issues related to payroll and benefits.
Areas of focus include tax, labor, retirement, financial services, insurance, healthcare and small business.
Will also include working with policymakers, trade associations, and internal Paychex partners on public policy issues impacting Paychex and our customers.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and helps to drive key strategic policy priorities, risks, and opportunities at the State and Local levels.
Works to align federal legislative efforts with policy developments at the State and Local levels.
Identifies and tracks issues with potential impact on the company at the state and federal level.
Conducts research and analysis on proposed legislation and regulations while coordinating with company subject matter experts and external industry stakeholders.
Prepares presentations and summaries of legislation and policy issues of importance to the company Works with internal business partners to help ensure that government relations activities are aligned to the business; identifies risk to the enterprise from government actions.
Assists in government relations continuous process improvements to mitigate risks throughout the organization.
Builds and maintains external relationships with policymakers and stakeholders and represent the company in legislative and regulatory engagement activities at the state and federal level.
Engages with relevant trade associations and industry partners on policy issues.
Participates in presentations and webinars to provide policy overviews and analysis to both internal partners and clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Political science - Required Master's Degree in Business, Political science - Preferred Compensation:
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $ $51,500.
00 - $72,209.
50 annually.

If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
