Job Description The Opportunity:

S Navy's Strategic System Program (SSP).
We are searching for an on-site Unified Communications Engineer to join the Unified Communications team in their support of the customer's IT Operations.
The Role:
As a Unified Communications (UC) Engineer, you will work with a team to handle the day-to-day UC Infrastructure operations, Audio/Visual (AV) upgrades and maintenance, and documentation.
You will:
Manage daily operations of the video teleconferencing (VTC) infrastructure hardware on both Unclassified and Secret networks.
Support the maintenance and administration of all UC devices to include Video Communications Servers (Cisco Expressways), MCUs (Cisco Meeting Server, and Cisco Meeting Management server), Media Gateways, conference room-based VTC systems, Desktop VTC endpoints, and other VTC-related equipment to include Cisco Unified Communications Manager software suites (CUCM, Unity, Prime Provisioning, etc.
) Conduct integration and configuration of existing UC hardware, including application of security controls and management support to the network infrastructure that underlies the UC platform Patch and upgrade firmware, break/fix support, and daily operations support Maintain and provide configuration management information that shall include but not limited to:
equipment hardware make/model, version numbers of installed software, as-built drawings, serial numbers and all passwords Ensure technical solutions comply with all applicable DoD regulations and industry standards Monitor system and network operations, and notify users when systems display non-standard or out of tolerance behavior Apply technical expertise to mitigate potential system problems before they occur Provide enterprise-level system administration for the UC enterprise Ensure all IP and ISDN based US systems are configured in accordance with DISA best practices and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) Resolves system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault isolation and repairs, or reprograms faulty equipment, as required Provides life cycle refresh projections for UC infrastructure, UC endpoints, and AV design and integration projects Conduct site surveys to establish AV/VTC systems and equipment based on customer requirements Consult with client(s) and internal engineering groups to create and/or review requirements, functional specifications, and detailed designsWho You Are:

$89650 - $152460 Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
