Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
Job Type Full-time Description SSI is seeking candidates interested in supporting a new contract opportunity beginning in the Spring of 2024 following award of a new multi-year contract.
The successful candidate will serve as a lead information systems administrator performing a wide range of operating system/executive software and processing hardware support tasks associated with the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of information technology and information systems.
Primary servers to be supported include:
RedHat Linux 6&7, Windows 2012 & 2012 R2, Windows 2016, any future releases of the Windows Server operating systems Setup, manage and maintain the virtual environment via VMWare Maintain SQL Server databases and their host servers Ensure servers and ancillary equipment are properly installed for optimal footprint, reliability and maintainability Support disaster recovery and backup of systems on the network, including VEEAM and NetApp Snapshot Manage and maintain Active Directory Ensure STIG compliance and provide technical assistance for software release management Requirements Must have active Secret Clearance; must be eligible to obtain Top Secret Education:
High School Diploma/GED Certifications:

and CISSP Requires a minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in product evaluation, infrastructure design, systems integration, security/information assurance and management throughout the entire system life cycle Requires a minimum of 2 years of general experience that includes knowledge of communications systems and network architectures in a large-scale client/server and web environment, and that includes either Linux, Windows or VMWare systems administration Requires experience in all phases of hardware architecture and systems integration, particularly the configuration, management and maintenance of an enterprise level backup solution (hardware and software) and storage area network environment Must possess good interpersonal, communications, and analytical skills Recommended Skills Analytical Certified Information Systems Security Professional Client Server Models Communication Computer Architectures Disaster Recovery Apply to this job.
