IT Project Lead with Security Clearance
ECS is seeking an IT Project Lead to work in our Washington, DC office
Job Description:
o Advise larger enterprise groups and collaborate and coordinate with other government agencies.
o Can solve complex challenges or interpret ambiguous tasking.
o Create and execute outreach campaigns and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
o Organize program materials so all team-members and or stakeholders have accessed the needed resources, guidance, and information.
o Interpret policy and guidance; then, breakdown how should be implemented within the FBI.
o Ability to self-start and work tasks independently, if needed.
o Ability to pivot activities for priority projects while still attempting to meet deadlines of prior taskings.
o Prepare materials for wide audiences and can communicate an idea and/or initiative.
o Can organize data to create a narrative then ability to visualize the data.
o Project Management Skills:
Break down an objective into smaller tasks, identify a timeline and road map to reach the overall objective(s).
o Think ahead for longer term impact.
o Proficient in SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint are desired.
o Responsible for the full life cycle project management of a wide variety of IT projects.
o Work closely with engineering staff to ensure strict adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and to ensure successful project execution.
o Regular interface with senior management, design engineers, stakeholders, implementation team members, vendors, and subcontractors.
o Responsible for project initiation, planning, execution and controlIdentifies and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Performance Measures.
o Facilitates definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements and works to resolve or assist in the resolution of cross-divisional resource or project conflicts.
o Strategic Planning, Performance Analysis and Reporting.
o Risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.
o May establish Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and conduct kickoff meetings with all stakeholdersEstablish and implement processes and procedures to effectively manage technical portfoliosRequired Skills:
o Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirementso Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
o 5
years of experience in IT Project managemento 10
years of IT related experienceo Good understanding of cloud infrastructure in an multi CSP Environment (AWS, Google, Azure, Oracle)o Provides a wide range of administrative, analytical duties for the front office, and support projects / programs with substantive functions to improve overall Section objectiveso Responsible for project tracking data calls and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Performance Measureso Support planning, schedules, and conducts analyses/studies of proposed program plans / roadmaps for accomplishing program activitieso Support analyzes of programs under the Section cognizance and recommend changes, as necessary, to ensure that comprehensive plans are kept current and reflect priorities, goals, and objectives of the Sectiono Support preparation of oral and written briefingso Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology; Serves as Section's Agile coacho Provides customer service support at all levels and the understanding to work with individuals both internally and externally to the organization Desired Skills:
