Overview Axient is seeking Navy Qualified Validators for the Washington Navy YardWork is onsite for 3-4 days per weekSecret clearance is requiredResponsibilitieso Assist with the creation and validation of US Navy Risk Management Framework Authorization packages.o Perform Navy Qualified Validator duties in eMASS as defined in the RMF.o Work with the NAVSEA, PEO IWS, combat system program offices to ensure DOD/DON cybersecurity regulations and best practices are followed in the design, development, and sustainment of the integrated combat systems and weapon systems.o Work with various combat system program offices to validate security controls and system documentation to ensure systems reach Authorization to Operate.o Ensure the hardening of systems under test to conforms all applicable regulations from DoD and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).o This includes but is not limited to Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Security Requirements Guides (SRG).o Review system scans/tests using the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC), and the Assured Content Assessment Solution (ACAS).o Review Plans of Action with Milestones (POAM) to DoD program offices as well as status updates and reports as requested.o Provide general cybersecurity and RMF expertise and support to DoD programsQualifications Minimum Requirementso Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.o Technical IT and cybersecurity backgroundo Excellent written skills since the validator develops and/or updates written system authorization supporting artifactso Excellent verbal skills since the validator works directly with the program offices and leadership to communicate progress, status, recommendations, and related informationo Excellent teamwork skills since the validator works in cooperation with program offices, different ISEAs and other support organizationso Excellent organizational skills since the validator may work several packages at onceo Knowledge of DoD and DON cyber policies and procedures and/or NIST 800-53, DoDI 8500.01, and DoDI 8510.01o Knowledge of PEO IWS Instruction 5239.1 is a pluso Familiarity with PEO IWS organization and systems is a plus Clearanceo Must have an active DoD SECRET security clearanceEducation/Experienceo Ten (10) years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least five (5) years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a relevant field Certificationso Navy Qualified Validator Credential desiredo At least one or more of the following is preferredo A+o Sec+o CAPo IAMo CISSPo CEH Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols #CJ #CJ Recommended Skills Certified Information Systems Security Professional Communication Coordinating Information Systems Leadership Risk Management Apply to this job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
