Embarq Solutions is looking for an experienced full-time janitor/custodian.
Your duties will require you to work indoors and outdoors on tasks such as sweeping walkways and picking up trash.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Gather and empty trash.
Sweep, mop, or vacuum building floors Clean restrooms and stock them with supplies Clean spills and other hazards with appropriate equipment Wash windows, walls, and glass Clean and disinfect surfaces that are touched frequently.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
You will work on-site where the job assignment is and can be exposed to all weather conditions.
In addition, you will work alongside all types of equipment and could be exposed to fumes, dust, and particles.
Proper PPE is required.
You will be expected to be able to walk, sit, stand, climb stairs/steps, bend, kneel, stoop, have responsible eyesight, range of motion, hearing and feeling in hands and fingers.
You will at times be required to use hand tools and various pieces of equipment.
Noise levels vary and can become very loud.
You are required to have the physical stamina to perform under these conditions, as well as other conditions not listed here.
An approved uniform must be worn daily - complete with the company logo.
