Senior Cloud Networking Engineer needed for a Direct Hire opportunity with SOC's client to work in Washington D.
CMust be a US Citizen eligible to obtain Public Trust prior to startingThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud networking technologies, with emphasis on IPv6 networking, network design, implementation, and troubleshootingYou will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain the DOT's IPv6 cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and securityYou will also work with the cloud team in the management and administration of cloud networking componentsJob Role
Specific Requirements:
1Develop and execute a comprehensive IPv6 strategy for a multi-cloud environment, including migration plans and IPv6 adoption roadmaps 2Implement advanced security measures for IPv6 networks, including firewall policies, intrusion detection systems, and DDoS management 3Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of IPv6 networking solutions 4Management and administration of cloud networking components including but not limited to VPCs, subnets, Load Balancers, and Security Groups 5Provide technical guidance to Cloud team members and Modal partners of implementation of IPv6 networking in cloud environments Employment Pre-requisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position:
