Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Systems Administrator / Engineer, Level III, to join our mission-critical teamThis role involves utilizing sound systems engineering principles to conduct analysis, coordinate design solutions, and apply mathematical methods to solve complex system needsThe ideal candidate will leverage their extensive systems engineering experience and education to address issues such as logistics, coordination of different teams, development, and analysis of requirements, and consider the entire life cycle applied to large, complex projectsKey
Responsibilities:
o Conduct comprehensive system analysis to identify and solve complex system needs.o Coordinate design solutions, ensuring the integration of all system components.o Apply mathematical methods and systems engineering principles to design and optimize projects.o Manage the logistics and coordination of different teams to ensure project alignment and efficiency.o Develop and analyze system requirements to guide the creation and implementation of comprehensive solutions.o Consider the entire project life cycle, from conception through decommissioning, to ensure sustainable and efficient outcomes.o Engage in risk management processes to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.o Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and human-centered disciplines to ensure project successEducation and
Experience:
o Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering with a minimum of three (3) years of task-related experience; ORo Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering with a minimum of six (6) years of task-related experience; ORo Associate's degree in computer science, information system, a physical science, engineering, or a mathematics-intensive discipline, plus ten (10) years of task-related experience; ORo Fifteen (15) years of task-related experience in systems engineering or a related fieldRequired Skills:
o Extensive knowledge and experience in systems engineering principles and practices.o Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.o Excellent coordination and project management skills to handle large, complex projects.o Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.o Proficient in risk management and mitigation strategies.o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
