Job Description:
The Splunk Developer will support the full system engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, integration, test, and documentationThe Splunk Developer will follow defined best practices and operational workflowsProvide overall engineering, and administration in supporting a very large distributed clustered Splunk environment consisting of search heads, indexers, deployers, deployment servers, heavy/universal forwarders, and Splunk Enterprise Security premium app, spanning security, performance, and operational roles
Responsibilities:
o Demonstrating the DevOps model, developers will be responsible for supporting their solutions throughout the entire IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, and providing O&M support. Writing and troubleshooting scripts with tools such as Python, Perl or other acceptable. Using Linux and Windows systems for data purposes. Develop, customize, and configure Splunk applications and dashboards. Integrating services into public, private and hybrid cloud environments. Mentor users and other groups on their use of Splunk. Builds advanced visualizations that are actionable using CSS, XML, HTML and other. Make recommendations to management and/or client-based or reviews of completion and implementation of system additions or enhancements made. Possess the expertise needed to understand and advance critical missions. Experience with managing work tasks via tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow. Experience maintaining and administering Splunk implementations. Flexible, proactive, and the ability to work with minimal direction in an open and fast-paced environment. A good understanding of AWS architecture.Requirements:
o Proficient with recognizing and onboarding new data sources into Splunk. Analyze data for anomalies and trends. Build dashboards highlighting the key trends of the data. Proficient within a Linux environment, editing and maintaining Splunk configuration files and apps. Perform troubleshooting and provide assistance with the creation of Splunk search queries and dashboards. Interact with senior management, as necessary. Experience in a senior Splunk role working in a Splunk clustered environment supporting SOC or NOC environment Experience in Linux and SQL/ODBC interfaces Experience in app interface development, using REST API's Previous project management experience ITIL Change & Configuration Management Experience in SQL Experience in other systems and network management productsRequirements Certification Required:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
