Chenega Architecture Design Solutions (CADS) is an Alaskan Native Small Disadvantaged Business, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chenega CorporationWe solve complex challenges with dedication and excellence-keeping clients and stakeholders informed at every stepOur professionals have been serving clients for more than three decadesWe make our clients' priorities our own so that we can develop consistent, long-term partnerships with all of our customersFulfilling our commitments to our clients and projects is the backbone of those relationships, and our ability to be agile and flexible is a big part of our successThe Electrical Engineer PE will provide support for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) with the performance of electrical engineering design and production support from project inception through constructionResponsibilitieso Provide technical leadership/mentorship to junior engineers/designers, and review other electrical engineers' work for code/criteria compliance and constructabilityo Design and technical competence in developing and the production of complete Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications, for new and renovation projects.o Be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, and the coordination, including inter-discipline coordination, of all designs, drawings, specifications, and other service.o Conduct field observation to verify/obtain the existing conditions of electrical site work and facility systems and incorporate these conditions into the design for a renovation/rehabilitation project.o Experience in construction management/scheduling and cost estimating.o Other duties as assignedQualificationso Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or universityo 5
years of specialized electrical facility schematic design and design development experience, including demonstrated experience with evaluation of new and existing facilities' electrical systemso 5
