Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionThe Business Development Manager will take a leading role in managing the Visa Cross Border Solutions (VXBS) relationship with the wider Visa organization, creating strong commercial relationships that will drive ongoing revenue growth for VXBS. This role will act as the interface between VXBS and Visa and will be responsible for managing the relationships with senior leaders within Visa clusters and business lines, prioritizing key markets and opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders within the VXBS organization to support key initiatives and supporting on large customer opportunities. This will be a high profile, multidisciplinary role and will require an experienced candidate.
Essential Functions:
Mapping out the relevant areas of the Visa organizationBuilding strong commercial relationships throughout the organizationCreating awareness and demand of the VXBS portfolio of solutionsTesting positioning & messaging to drive opportunity generationNurturing complex and first of a kind deals (new markets, segments, enterprise, etc.)Managing deal flow with the sales teams to optimize pipeline effectivelyTraining sales teams on best practices for sell through sales approach, Visa sales levers/mechanics, and new use casesAssisting in uncovering new pockets of opportunity for future development/investment and helping with business case for investmentReporting on and providing consistent feedback to leadership and broader VXBS GTM teams on progress, learnings, challenges, successes, resources asks, etc.This is a remote position based in Washington, D.C. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- 7
years experience in a similar role with a proven track record of igniting and developing enterprise level business opportunities
- Demonstrable experience in creating & managing joint GTM plans and holding yourself & stakeholders to account on key deliverables
- Technology / payments / fintech experience preferable, in particular within complex interdependent ecosystems, cross border experience a plus
- Excellent people skills - ability to network and maintain relationships at all levels and strong team working skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Tenacious attention to detail and strong project management capabilities
- Comfortable working in a matrixed environment, responding positively to changes and demonstrating agilityAdditional InformationWork Hours:

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 155,700 to 225,850 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
