Principal Product Manager - Confidential Compute

At Azure, the Core Compute team comprises the teams responsible for defining, developing, and delivering the compute, storage and networking hardware and software upon which all Microsoft customers products and services run.
Security represents the most critical priorities for Azure customers in a world awash in digital threats, regulatory scrutiny, and estate complexity.
Confidential Computing is a new and scalable way to protect data when in use by doing the computation in a hardware based Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) or an Enclave thus enabling end-to-end data protection.
As a Principal Product Manager- Confidental Compute in Azure Confidential Computing (ACC) team in Azure Core Compute, you will be responsible for defining the general compute platforms for confidential CPUs, GPUs, and higher-level paradigms such as Virtual Machines (VMs) and Containers.
In this pivotal role, you'll identify innovative opportunities to enhance our global compute infrastructure such that confidentiality can become table stakes for all future computing.
Collaborating with a diverse team, you'll strategize for a product portfolio that ensures efficient, reliable, cost-effective, and secure computing across our global fleet.
You'll work with cross-functional teams to define and launch products and use metrics to gauge their success.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about advancing compute technologies, have a proven track record in leading product teams, and possess data analysis, communication, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 8
years experience in product or program management.
OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.
S.
is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.

You will provide strategic insights to help teams scale Product Marketing by building marketing and roll-out plans, as well as ensure they create customer support plans.
You ll also drive them to promote the feature areas they worked on and oversee team presentations at large events.
As an expert, you will help teams partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for technical needs in order to measurably improve product development industry-wide.
You ll also ensure teams identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers across sectors.
