Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), 777X Airplane Level Integration Team (ALIT), is seeking Senior (Level 4) Certification System Engineers.
This role offers high visibility and developmental opportunities for motivated individuals who directly support the development of the 777-8F ATC project.
The Certification System Engineers will utilize System Engineering Principles to accomplish FAA and EASA certification efforts for the 777-8F program.
Position
Responsibilities:
Rapidly understand complex technical concepts across multiple engineering disciplines and analyze complex technical problems to develop actionable execution plans.
Provide technical and integration leadership for the 777-8F Program, addressing engineering issues that require cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration.
Possess commercial aircraft design and/or analysis experience within Airframe, Flight Sciences, Interiors, Propulsion, or Systems, with expertise in certification and working with FAA regulations and Regulatory Administration.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including peers, stakeholders, senior and executive leadership, regulators, and suppliers.
Maintain certification plans and technical documents to ensure regulatory compliance with FAA or EASA regulations.
Collaborate with regulatory authorities (FAA and EASA) and internal engineering teams to establish the certification basis for aircraft systems and equipment, as well as means of compliance.
Support compliance activities, including the development and basis of certifications, means of compliance, and certification activities for complex total systems.
Participate in the design and test lifecycle, providing input from the perspective of regulatory compliance.
Develop solutions for complex certification-related issues and lead team members accordingly.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer scienceExperience working with 14 CFR Part 25 and EASA CS-25 aspects.
Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross functional teams on projects and initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with FAA ATC projects or EASA projects as an applicant.
Familiarity with demonstrating compliance to FAA regulations in a specific engineering discipline.
Career growth goal in certification/airworthiness engineering over multiple years of program execution, training, and process development.
Desire to learn and grow into a certification expert, technical lead, DER, CVE, or ODA unit member as part of a career path.
Strong desire to execute aggressive schedules and proactively train and grow in the certification skill set.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
