Qualifications:
The Boeing Company is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager (International Type Validation) supporting the International Type Validation team in Everett or Renton, Washington.
This engineering leadership role will be responsible for the operational oversight and compliance of International Type Validation for production programs.
The successful candidate will have certification experience as well as experience in the development and execution of project and process planning, implementing policies and procedures, and setting operational goals.
This individual will demonstrate the attributes of a Boeing manager leading teams and motivating people to work together.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Everett or Renton WA.
Position
Responsibilities:
Manage all program validation projections, budgets, headcount, and staffing strategies to support program needsCoordinate and collaborate with the Federal Aviation Administration and foreign regulatory agencies to execute international type validation projectsNavigate various regulatory processes to find solutions to complex problems, while providing guidance to all levels of leadership across all airplane programsEnsure regulator actions are successfully captured, implemented, and closedCommunicate airplane validation risks to program leaders across all modelsDefine and communicate validation task priorities to internal and external stakeholdersLead and facilitate discussions with the FAA, foreign regulatory agencies, and airplane program leadersEnsure ODA unit members are supported and all concerns are addressed with regard to type validation projectsThis position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
