Summary:
Life Cycle Engineering is looking for Senior and Mid Level Electrical Engineers to join the LCE team supporting PMS 300 and 325 in Washington, DC. As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide support for the Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E); Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I); and mission equipment and systems installed aboard ships, boats, craft and targets, including Combat Logistics Force (CLF), Special Mission Ships, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) assets.
Clearance Required:Must be a US citizen with an Active DoD clearance
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:Provide engineering/technical support for concept studies; feasibility studies; preliminary design activities; contract design activities; detail design and construction activities; independent design reviews; In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to ships/boats/craft, ship systems and/or shipboard equipment.
Conduct reliability, maintainability, availability, transportability, hazard, environmental, occupational health, safety, risk analyses, and other system engineering analyses. The Contractor shall provide reports, plans, and other substantiating documentation as required.
Facilitate and provide required technical information expertise to Integrated Process Teams (IPTs), special advisory boards, off-sites, working groups and audit teams. The Contractor shall gt5perform research and work along with USCG, ABS, and other key stakeholders, such as, the Military Sealift Command (MSC).
Provide support in the development, analysis, testing and certification of materials and their application.
Review, maintain and make recommendations with regard to engineering plans, annual reports, program records, technical manuals, design histories, design configurations, databases, regulatory body and other documents.
Support ongoing ship Detail Design requirements, including the review of shipbuilder's products and deliverables in accordance with Government requirements and the preparation of analyses and recommendations for decisions to the Program Office.
Required Education, Skills, and
Experience:Bachelors of Science in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Mid-Level Experience Required, 3 years Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Ship Operations and/or shipboard testing
Senior Level Experience Required: 10 years Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process)
Experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel
Preferred Skills and
Experience:Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
Ability to run simulations and analyze test data.
Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical Demands and Expectations:Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
