ResponsibilitiesThe Marlet Director of Information Services will provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the affiliate-wide Information Services (I.

) program at multiple facilities across the region.
The Director will lead the health-care network in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial regional-wide I.

This is an exciting new position with responsibility over George Washington University Hospital, Mid-Atlantic Urgent Care, Cedar Hill Regional Hospital in DC and anticipated growth and expansion under GW Hospital.

QualificationsEducation/QualificationMinimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Health Administration required.
Post graduate or commensurate experience preferred.
Minimum 13 years of leadership experience in the management and support of Healthcare Information Technology and Systems, as well as direct management of major IS operations required; acute experience preferredExperience should also include exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in-house information and communication systems in a multi-site client-server environment.
Specific experience with practice management, financial management and clinical management information systems is a plus.
