DutiesThis position is located under the Office of Field Operations, Resource Management Branch located anywhere in the United States.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an expert advisor and consultant to the supervisor, Deputy and Division Chief, Deputy Assistant Directors (DADs) and Assistant Director (AD).As a Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-14, your typical work assignments may include:
Provides expert advice to management officials within the office and maintains liaison with management officials at all levels on issues regarding programs in his/her assigned area.Identifies resources (staff, funding, equipment, facilities) required to support program missions and operations.Analyzes results of studies, identifies specific problems, and prepares detailed or summarized reports, including recommendations for revision of processes or procedures, and possible solutions to specific problems.Reviews, evaluates, and recommends improvements in practices, programs, and mission areas within the respective office.Responsible for assembling needed personnel resources from Headquarters, the field and/or other Government agencies; identifying goals and objectives; developing plans of action, including the planning and coordination of the working group members to meet urgent deadlines; directing and coordinating the preparation of reports of progress, findings, recommendations, impact, etc. and implementing recommendations upon their approval for his/her assigned area or program.Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progresses.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentThe time-in-grade requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
