Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Large Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our fleet of heavy construction equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, contributing to the overall success of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy construction equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including parts inventory.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and practices at all times.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Large Equipment Mechanic, with a focus on heavy construction equipment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant education is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Large Equipment Mechanic in heavy civil construction, specifically diesel equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment parts and tools.
