Overview The Audio Visual (AV) Production Specialist, Jr will interpret stakeholder requirements and then recommend and give advice to stakeholders on the appropriate media type, channel, presentation format, length, and other factors to enhance communicationsThey will develop an understanding of the target audience and overall message to be conveyedResponsibilitieso Works in various production roles to include AV producer, videographer, technical director, editor, lighting director, audio mixer, writer, and graphic artist.o Demonstrates expertise in supporting and assisting in the setup of video productions in both studio and field environments, plus auditorium live events.o Demonstrates skills as producer, videographer, editor, graphic/motion graphic artist, production skills to support video projects.o Supports live event productions in high-definition video facility with video switchers, audio mixers, routers, digital still stores, HD/4K cameras, teleconferencing systems, and servers.o Produces, directs, writes, films, and/or edits audiovisual assignments related to the Defense Intelligence Agency.o Produces long and short format videos for various programs, training videos, PSAs and online/digital/social media.o Collaborates with multiple stakeholders, project managers, multiple media professionals and contractors to prepare project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing needs and strategies to satisfy agency goals and objectives.o Perform as lighting director in both studio and field lighting techniques, maintaining a consistent look across multiple sessions for various video productions.o Receives video assignments from the Chief of Video Operations and works in conjunction with the OCC2B Video Operations TeamOPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
This is a full-time position that operates 100% onsite unless otherwise indicated by, and at the discretion of, the Program Manager and customerWork will occur between the operating hours of 0600 and 1800TRAVEL:
This position will require some local travel to various Customer sites for installations and other project objectivesThis travel will be within the DMVQualifications CLEARANCE:
o Active TS SCI clearance upon application and ability to obtain CI PolygraphEDUCATON:
o Bachelor's degree in television, Film, or an equivalent fieldREQUIRED SKILLS AND
Experience:
o Five (5) years of experience as a Video Producer at a television station, television network, production house, postproduction house or equivalent high-end media facility.o Proficient as a videographer/cinematographer with a wide variety of cameras such as digital cinema cameras, video cameras and DSLR's.o Proficient as an editor with non-linear computer editing systems and software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, etcDESIRED SKILLS AND
Experience:
