years of experience in a professional work environment

years of experience with managing projects or performing oversight for passenger rail
Experience in project planning, engineering, and construction of a major capital project
Knowledge of freight and passenger rail infrastructure
Ability to serve in a leadership role for a project team
Ability to review project sponsors' plans and supporting documentation to ensure that projects are being built safely on budget, on schedule, within scope, and in conformance with applicable regulations and guidelines
Ability to serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert in engineering for railroad projects
Ability to provide engineering advice, guidance, and assistance to program offices or site managers
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Qualifications:
Experience with major railroad civil infrastructure and structures
Experience with Positive Train Control, Communications Based Train Control, Control Center Engineering, or railroad block signal systems, and associated communication and control systems
Professional Engineer (P.E.) Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
