Medical Receptionist and Preauthorization Specialist

The Center for Innovative GYN Surgery (innovativeGYN.
com) requires an experienced Medical Receptionist/Preauthorization Specialist.
The position requires a professional with excellent communication skills who can interact well with patients for scheduling appointments, perform data entry into the MediTouch software system, and can answer general questions and direct patients to appropriate personnel within the office.
The position will also require experience in preauthorization for surgery.
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
The main office of the practice is located in Bethesda, MD, and is where the receptionist will be located.
The practice will be moving its main office to new space in the next several months to Rockville, MD, at the junction of I-270 and the Beltway.
CIGS is a GYN minimally invasive surgical practice with an associated free standing surgery center, Innovations Surgery Center.
The practice considers the Medical Receptionist position as vital to the growth and continued success of the practice.
The practice is expanding, and requires additional staffing for this position, with the position being available immediately.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
