Accenture Federal Services Security practice helps organizations work through complex business and technology issues to provide a straightforward approach to information and network security. Our security professionals bring deep technology skills and industry knowledge to any organization and work closely with clients to design and implement a security solution closely tied to business objectives.
Our consultants identify and evaluate business needs for security gaps and will help to create security project plans. They also anticipate security requirements and identify sound security controls for applications, systems, processes and organizations. Our consultants can easily work with non-security teams to integrate security controls on projects.
Key Responsibilities may include: Consultant - Information Risk, Privacy and Security Strategy. Responsible for supporting the delivery of Accenture Federal Service's security offerings related to information security, including security governance (security policies and procedures), security strategy (security planning) and risk (risk assessments and management) - GRC. Security generalist familiar with security frameworks, compliance requirements and security planning and operations. Ability to lead junior security analysts. Conversant in basic project management principles and project quality methods. Preference for at least one current recognized security professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
4 years of general IT experience
2 years of information security experience
1 year of experience related to one of the following (risk assessments, security policy development, security strategy, general IT and security controls development, compliance readiness (i.e. NIST 800- Series, DIACAP, FISMA, FedRAMP, FIPS) or technical security architecture/design.
One recognized security professional certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH, GIAC)
2 years technical hands-on experience with security compliance and vulnerability assessment tools
Preferred Skills:
Experience preparing for or conducting a NIST, FEDRAMP, or DIACAP security assessment, or security breach investigation
Knowledge of security vendors and security product capabilities
Exposure to Governance, Risk and Compliance tools and platforms
One recognized security certification or significant progress
Professional Skills Requirements:
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Able to meet requirements for retaining professional security certifications
Ability to pass a client background screening
National Security Clearance
