Description:
This role will support a number of activities within an Enterprise Architecture program. The incumbent will be providing communication support and management to support the USCIS Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) program. The incumbent will be working with stakeholders across the organization to identify and document requirements for managing PIV roll out. The ICAM position requirements include, but are not limited to, requirements gathering, business process reengineering, communication deployment to USICS, and reporting to senior leadership on status and progress. The incumbent will be responsible for documenting ICAM process models and other requirements collection and management tools as applicable.
Work with agency stakeholders for to identify and document requirements for managing the ICAM PIV roll out.
Serve as liaison between the ICAM Team stakeholders and the Communication departments to ensure the requirements identified and approved according to DHS standards.
Ensure processes are developed, approved and implemented properly and accurately.
Participate in or lead facilitated sessions with ICAM PIV stakeholders and ICAM technical team to identify communication and process requirements.
Communicate status to ICAM Technical team, and EA ICAM team lead on a frequent and consistent basis.
Provide additional documentation and/or reporting support as needed to the EA Branch
Knowledge of requirements identification, documentation and tracking
Knowledge of developing process workflows using an automated tool (iGrafx preferred) and base knowledge of applying Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), v2.0.
Base knowledge of EA concepts and artifacts, especially within the Business and Service Architecture Layers
Ability to work independently and manage their assigned tasks and responsibilities
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task across several workstreams with varying responsibilities and work well under tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in ensuring that customer expectations are satisfied.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience developing Communications work products.
Ability to interact effectively with a variety of contacts/relationships.
Bachelor's degree required.
5 years of professional experience and self-starter.
At least one year of experience in requirements analysis and management.
At least one year of business process modeling experience.
Ability to use multiple communication methods to work with all levels of staff.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
