Business Development Executive - NGO (US)

The Business Development Executive will identify, create and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate foreign exchange sector. The incumbent will be
for establishing new business relationships and effectively identifying and communicating appropriate foreign exchange solutions in the NGO/non-profit sector. The goal of the BDE is to establish rapport and build credibility with clients through effectively presenting solutions that encompass clients' entire international payment needs and establishing Western Union Business Solutions as the primary provider. The ability to communicate, present and negotiate with executive level positions within a prospective non-profit company both over the phone and in person is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Contact prospects and set appointments with new business opportunities.
Market and close sales opportunities for Western Union Business Solutions' foreign exchange products and international payment services.
Build and maintain strategic business relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Develop and utilize networking opportunities to establish Western Union Business Solutions as a credible member of the professional
and to identify and create new business opportunities.
Research and analyze clients' business objectives, identify their foreign exchange and international payment requirements, and design a benefits-based solution and action plan demonstrating how Western Union Business Solutions can meet client needs.
Develop sales strategies and plan to best position products and services.
Manage the complete sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales/pipeline reports, and competitor information.
Implement marketing/brand awareness campaigns for prospective clients as well as conduct ongoing analysis of the market to identify business opportunities.
Communicate customer requirements, sales, and lead information with the trading team and management.
Adhere to Compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering procedures, as well as all company policies.
Represent Western Union Business Solutions in a professional manner at all times.
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Establish a productive sales/dealer relationship.
Demonstrate commitment to continuing education and knowledge of Western Union Business Solutions' products and services, as well as the foreign exchange industry in general.
Cold call and participation in telemarketing activities and initiatives to prospective clients.
Develop and maintain sales pipeline through Western Union Business Solutions' CRM system.
Perform all other reasonable duties as requested by management or management delegate.
University or college education with an emphasis on international studies, economics, marketing, or finance highly regarded.
Minimum 5 years of business to business solution sales experience with a proven track record is essential.
Experience in the FX, financial, or technology industry an asset.
Knowledge of the NGO sector is not required, but seen as an asset.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
