JOB INFORMATION
Deal with internal clients and manage expectations regarding application development with staff resources. Assign and manage development staff assigned to particular projects and provide technical oversight as needed. Hire, manage, develop and evaluate staff.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
Confer with management or client group and determine technical requirements of pending or current projects. Assess how development objectives can best be met using current staff and resources.
Coordinate and administer assignments to projects, monitor team progress, and maintain schedules. Report to clients as necessary.
Meet with various teams concerned with programming, development, testing, and acceptance and provide technical assessment and provision of appropriate resources at different stages of project
May provide technical contributions or project management to current project.
Ensure that project(s) are conducted in accord with the organization's structured methodology and standards for application development.
Communicate with and may oversee project managers assigned to projects on which relevant staff are assigned.
Plan, manage, document and evaluate staff performance. Ensure continued technical and professional development of staff and provide ongoing technical guidance and direction.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
6 years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Be the thought leader for Social Media and Collaboration capabilities for the firm.
Work with Customer Engagement, Marketing and Communication, Information Security, and other organizations to identify the target state and roadmap for the Social Media / Collaboration usage to both internal and external customers.
Develop a high performing team to implement and support collaboration capabilities for the firm.
Work with the corporate websites team to implement Social Media / Collaboration capabilities.
Develop organizational training and adoption plan for usage of social media and collaboration tools.
Engage with external
community
to further usage of collaboration tools via presentation and speaking
events
.
Strong knowledge of current social media tools- Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and their use in financial institutions.
Successful candidate will have demonstrated experience developing and delivering collaboration and social media solutions for B2B, B2C and internal communication.
Successful candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
Successful candidate must be able to assume responsibility for major project deliverables working with multiple cross functional teams to accomplish shared goals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to the position. Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment are required
