JOB INFORMATION Director within Fannie Mae's Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to drive strategic planning, improvement, implementation and continuous evaluation of enterprise project processes. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Project Portfolio Process Planning and Improvement Lead efforts to assess effectiveness and efficiency of end to end enterprise project governance and execution processes Engage cross-organizational project process stakeholders to formulate enterprise strategies for process improvement with full consideration of people, process and tools Facilitate and drive trade-off decisions between organizational impact, system change constraints and functional process requirements to optimize delivery of process improvements Lead senior management presentation and ensure proper coordination of all levels of communication for enterprise project governance and execution process improvement efforts Process Change Implementation Responsible for the delivery, maintenance and accessibility of enterprise governance and execution process documentation, including corresponding policies, standards and guidelines in Fannie Mae's official repository Lead the documentation and delivery of process change business and reporting requirements to applicable system product management teams for downstream functional and technical requirements definition -- for all EPMO-driven process change efforts requiring system enhancements Lead delivery and/or enterprise coordination of process change training including content creation, content presentation and end-user guidance and support Ensure proper coordination and dependency management with all applicable system product management teams as needed throughout all process change implementations Process Performance Management Establish and maintain enterprise project governance and execution process performance metrics for EPMO Plan and engage system product management teams through business requirements as needed to identify and capture performance data pertinent to process performance tracking Lead the analysis and presentation of enterprise project process performance data to all levels of management for the purposes of ongoing monitoring/trending, process change performance objectives and post-change implementation results EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 10-12 years SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS Program/Project certification(s) and experience leading large complex projects and enterprise change initiatives COTS software implementation Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software knowledge/experience IT project governance process experience SDLC and technology operations process experience Extensive written and verbal communications skills to all levels of an organization EMPLOYMENT As a condition of employment with Fannie Mae, any successful job applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and to successfully complete a background investigation, which may also include a credit check for positions in some areas of our business. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
