INFORMATION Manage a team engaged in executing the full-life cycle resource management process within the organization?s Internal Resource Management Center. Manage activities related to identifying, screening, and recommending internal resources for open positions and/or projects. Hire, manage, train, develop, and evaluate staff. Develop, implement, document, and ensure adherence to resource management practices and procedures. Identify and implement methods for continuous improvement. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Lead the development and enforcement of governance processes for resource management strategies and ensure that they are functioning properly. Identify, recommend, and lead the implementation of continuous resource management process improvements. Confer with business unit or corporate management to determine scope of resource demand and business factors affecting required or preferred attributes of candidates. Understand the demand for resources (skills, sources, roles) and implement appropriate strategies and tactics to address. Manage the Internal Resource Management Center where resource specialists will provide information and guidance to employees regarding career navigation, creating trust via communications and successful actions such as coordinating job matches. Manage a team of resource management specialists, including coaching and performance management, determining training and development needs, and resolving issues. Monitor client satisfaction and performance by soliciting feedback, attending client meetings, and proactively address any issues. Consult with business unit clients and HR business partners to understand goals, challenges, and needs of the client to provide value-added resource management support. Gather, analyze, and leverage skill inventory and resource data in order to consult clients and HR partners. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 6 years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS Previous experience working within a resource management function preferred. Demonstrated ability to leverage systems to obtain and interpret internal mobility data for analysis, metrics and presentations Previous experience managing in a corporate recruiting environment preferred Ability to effectively develop staff, guiding teams through high-volume recruiting environments, coaching employees to meet demanding project timelines, and utilizing metrics to drive and measure performance. Strong customer service and relationship management skills as well as the ability to engage and influence hiring managers and other business partners at all levels (Manager, Director and Officer). Demonstrated ability to function as a subject matter expert and trusted internal-consultant to various stakeholders Demonstrated proficiency in project management and attention to detail Demonstrated Fannie Mae business acumen Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity Demonstrated ability to produce graphic representations of analytical data and tell the story in both written and verbal form Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft applications, specifically PowerPoint and Excel EMPLOYMENT As a condition of employment with Fannie Mae, any successful job applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and to successfully complete a background investigation, which may also include a credit check for positions in some areas of our business.
