Legal Secretary - Estates, Trusts and Tax Planning
The candidate will be responsible for: providing comprehensive administrative support; initiating, drafting, editing and finalizing correspondence, reports, and other materials as requested, and bringing items that need immediate attention to the forefront and following-up on status of open action items. Will also prepare engagement letters, open and maintain client files; process, review and edit client bills; and maintain systematic follow-up systems to ensure that deadlines are met and that information or material from other offices is received on a timely basis.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
