Responsibilities: Will handle various product agendas with policy makers inside and outside government. In addition, will help advise product and engineering teams on the public policy implications of their products, working with a closely coordinated and cross-functional global team. Serve as a representative of company before the White House, the Executive Branch and independent federal agencies. Develop and lead public policy outreach and campaigns across the full range of policy areas that impact company and the web. Key issues include technology innovation, free expression, privacy and intellectual property. Engage directly with politicians and policy-makers. Build a network of trade associations, industry partners, non-profit groups and others to support policies that will help create/maintain a user-focused online environment as well as an open Internet.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
