JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible
for providing exceptional and enjoyable pool experience at the Rooftop Pool.Carry
ut the policies and procedures of Embassy Row Hotel while maintaining the
highest degree of professionalism. Provide fast and courteous service to guest and members as per hotel standards
f service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Respond
to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner, deferring
to F&B; Manager, when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
Develop
and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team
to reach common goals
Anticipate
and address guest service needs, resolving problems using good judgment and work
with minimal supervision.
Maintain complete knowledge
f and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
Maintain
confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Move,
lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50
lbs without assistance.
Perform
ther reasonable job duties as requested by F&B; Manager
Deliver food
and bus pool areas as needed
Maintains a safe, clean and pool
area for guests. Follows open/close procedures daily.
Maintains pool deck furniture and
set in a clean and orderly manner. Stacks chairs and transports to assigned
areas.
Folds and transports towels for
guest at the pool
Assist the food service personnel in
the collection of soiled glasses, china, cutlery, etc.,
throughout the pool and transport to designated collection areas.
Empties and cleans waste-baskets and
ash trays and transports trash to disposal area.
Excellent guest service skills
Able to work on a flexible schedule,
including weekends and holidays
Follow safety procedures to ensure a
safe working environment.
Maintain uniform & grooming
standards as outlined in employee handbook & departmental training.
Full knowledge of Rooftop operations
and provide guests with general information (direction, menu questions, hours
f operation, etc).
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications
One to two years customer
service experience, hotel environment preferred.
High school graduate or
equivalent
Meets age to serve alcoholic
beverages.
Fluency in English both
verbal and non-verbal.
Provide legible
communication.
Compute basic arithmetic.
Ability
to:
Perform job functions with
attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Prioritize and organize.
Be a clear thinker,
remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
Follow directions
thoroughly.
Understand guest's service
needs.
