Key Role:
Support the enterprise architecture (EA) tasks for a DoD client, providing architecture support and expertise in various domains across the financial and personnel domains. Support the client and team in designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining multiple states of an EA for a large program office, including operational, data, and systems views. Provide expertise for developing an EA framework that enables tightly coupled business and IT planning. Work with subject matter experts and other architects to re-engineer business processes using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), define business and system requirements, conduct process and data modeling, and support the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) 2.0 development. Communicate the benefits of EA to key stakeholders and encourage its widespread application in client initiatives. Leverage the architecture in support of enterprise system selection and IT portfolio management.
Basic
Qualifications:
-4 years of experience with supporting the federal government and DoD clients
-4 years of experience with applying common techniques for EA modeling and analytics and using EA tools, including IBM System Architect
-3 years of experience with EA methodologies and applying the DoDAF framework specifically to the DoD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA)
-3 years of experience with developing and briefing whitepapers and presentations to senior-level government clients
-2 years of experience with documenting business processes using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) in Visio, iGraphx, or similar process modeling tools
-1 years of experience with leading a project team, including the management of project financials, schedules, and milestone delivery
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with the US Navy processes or overall DoD processes and systems
-Knowledge of system engineering concepts and SDLC
-Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Engineering or a technical field
