The incumbent serves as an Information Technology Specialist in the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, Associate Director, Systems Engineering and reports directly to the Associate Director, Systems Engineering.

Oversee the installation and integration of advanced systems, fixes, updates, and enhancements, and ensures application of untried policies, principles, practices in computer service delivery.
Manage accounts, network rights, and access to extensive, complex systems and equipment.
Monitor systems resources to determine performance, capacity, and availability.
Conduct test, trials, pilots and proofs-of-concepts to validate plans and strategies.
Evaluate operating programs, policies, and procedures within assigned area of responsibility. Modifies operating policies and procedures to obtain the most efficient operations.

Rating : Your application will be evaluated in the following areas:
Expert knowledge of infrastructure management and systems engineering concepts, principles, methods, and practices;
Comprehensive knowledge of the infrastructure management and system engineering markets and vendors;
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Category rating will be used to rank and select eligible candidates. If qualified, you will be assigned to one of three quality level categories, A, B, or C depending on your responses to the online questions, regarding your experience, education, and training related to this position. Specialized
Experience: For the Band 53, (equivalent to the GS-13), you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the Band 52 (GS-12) grade level in the Federal service.
Experience with technical planning, engineering, deployment, and support of both, physical and virtual desktop (VDI) environments;
Hands on experience with server related technologies and techniques at the Tier-2 or 3 support levels. You must have experience in at least 5 of the following desktop technologies: VMWARE View, Citrix XenDesktop, SCCM, Citrix XenApp, MS Windows 7 or higher OS, Office 2010 and higher platforms, Thin and zero client deployments and configuration, application packaging, Hyper-V, App-V;
Experience with the administration of Active Directory; AND
Current MCSE, MCTS or MCITP certification.
In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
