Selected individual will be responsible for providing acquisition and project management support to the Navy's Surface Ship Undersea Warfare (USW) Combat System Office. The position will consist of developing, reviewing and analyzing acquisition strategies, and associated budget planning and lifecycle management documentation for all Undersea Warfare programs. Additionally, the position will require interaction with various naval activities such as Navy Labs, Prime System Contractors. The position requires the applicant to have the ability to monitor, track, research, coordinate and resolve assigned programmatic tasks and action items in a timely manner. The applicant must be flexible with excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and Education
Working knowledge of DoD Project/Program Management
Excellent communication skills (Oral and written)
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to interact with various Government and Contractor entities
Excellent leadership qualities
Proficient in using Microsoft office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook)
Preferred Skills and Education
Naval Combat System Technical experience
System integration and operability requirements experience
U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer
