Hewlett Packard has an immediate need in our US Public Sector Consulting Organization for a Junior Technology Consultant in District of Columbia - Washington .
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
o Consultant to work as a team member under general supervision:
o Flexibility to work different shifts between the hours of 7 AM - 8 PM
o Provides close technical support and input on the application of Microsoft technology to a defined business segment.
o Personnel are required to be onsite full time and provide second tier operations support for the Active Directory and Exchange production systems.
o The staff is required to have experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange
Operations must be able to research, test, document, and implement Microsoft windows related software/hardware updates as well as good trouble-shooting skills.
o Able to monitor Active Directory and Exchange related software/hardware, and assist with monthly server maintenance.
o Ability to resolve escalated trouble tickets from the help desk.
o Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
o Good team player.

Qualifications:
Experience with System development life Cycle
In-depth experience in developing test plans, test cases and test reports
Experience in conducting different testing's such as unit test, functional test, user acceptance test
Good understanding of applications development
Good interpersonal skills and customer interfacing skills
Good writing/documentation skills

Experience:
Executed web and desktop application software testing as assigned for multiple NRCS products uising established quality assurance standards and practices.
Worked as part of a delivery team to ensure quality assurance throughout the entire software development lifecycle
Interpreted and refined product business requirements to help ensure quality and mitigate risk
Created Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Reports for multiple NRCS projects
Created templates for trackers and logs for defects and issues utilizing CoLab tool
Analyzed and duplicated software failures with development team using logs to determine root cause
Executed SQL queries to locate data and ensure quality
Performed black-box software testing including functional, system, user acceptance, regression, performance and load testing
Performed Deployment Readiness testing involving testing, installation and configuration, documentation, smoke test, daily check, cluster aware and multi-user testing (using some automation)
Candidate will undergo a background investigation

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
